Highwayman: Now that is a research goldmine. What a wonderful and respectful writeup of a family and their decendants. I'm so glad you posted it here. I think it will be "mined" by many a Wisconsin Butson who may stumble on this forum. It seems that the 8 and 12 children families of the Wisconsin Butsons was much the norm for northern U.S. and Canadian farming families. It also seems that the Wisconsin Butsons emmigrated from the mines of Cornwall just about the same time as the Solomon/Cecil clan did to Canada. Thank you for your fine input. Regards, Dave
